This balm is packed full of natural and organic ingredients using the traditional Scottish remedy to ward of the bane of the midgie and combining this with nourishing and enriching butters which help the balm slide over the skin, finally contains colloidal silver to help with the healing should you get a bite (also silver had traditionally been used to ward off biting
The ingredients in this balm follow my ideals of looking to the earth around us for the correct remedy, here in Scotland we have Bog Myrtle which has been used for centuries to ward off beasties, especially these wee bitey beasties which plague and spoil our summers. This has been combined with a little citronella and lemon eucalyptus to balance the scent, mixed with the colloidial silver for healing and anti bacterial properties.
The carrier balm is an enriching mix of shea butter, cocoa butter and soy wax.
This balm has been developed over several years with the combinations of ingredients continually tweaked until now, when I am happy to share it.
The balm is (as always) vegan, ethically made and sourced. Our tins are fully recyclable and can be returned for a £1 discount off your next purchase.
All tubs are 50g in size. Big enough for a longer trip or to protect the whole family but still small enough to pop in a pouch or pocket.
